Litter Pick
Every year before the leaves and grass hide the evidence there is a litteer pick throughout the Parish. This year by happy coincidence it fell on the same day as the 'clean for the Queen' day as part of a country wide initiative to celebrate the Queen's 90th Birthday.
As usual there was plenty to pick up especially on the through roads where all sorts of stuff (mainly food and drink containers) is thrpwn out of passing vehicles for the famous 'somebody' to pick up the resulting mess.
Thanks to the cheerful volunteers the job was done in just over 1 1/2 hours and the results shown here will be taken away by NKDC Waste Department.
