WW1 Centenary
Here is a small selection of photos from the World War One Centenary Event, held at the Village Hall on Sunday 11th November, 2018, 100 years after the "Outbreak of Peace". It was organised by Janet Flett and the Village Hall Committee. It featured WW1 songs, maps, equipment, stories, posters, photos and a Beacon ceremony in the meadow and was attended by over 80 people. Special thanks to Nigel and Teri Creasey for providing the live music and singing and the audience for their enthusiastic participation in the choruses.
