Royal Oak
Everybody will now know that the Royal Oak has shut again. Evidently there was a breakdown between the owner and management of the pub and that led to the sudden closure.
Richard Wright, the owner, has declared that there will be a Quiz Night on Wednesday 18 December after which he will make a statement to the effect that he does intend to reopen the pub as soon as possible in the New Year with the intention of making it the long term Village asset that we all want it to be.
