Approxiametly 75 parish residents attended the Parish Meeting on Tuesday, 16 November 2021 to discuss the proposal put forward by the owner to redevelop The Limes site. The scheme to build 22 self contained units with support buildings for the residents was overwhelmingly rejected by those attending.
A formal Planning Application for a new scheme to clear the site and build 5 residential dwellings has now been submitted by the owner to North Kesteven District Council.
A Parish Meeting could not be arranged so a Community Meeting was called for Thursday, 12 May 2022 when 38 residents including the Chairman, Meeting Coordinator, and Minute Taker, attended.
There were some reservations about the scheme but the following resolution was overwhelmingly approved.
In principle, we the community of Scopwick and Kirkby Green, fully support the revised development plans for the Limes Care Home site for 5 individual houses.
